Celebrating the tenth animal in the 12-year cycle of the Chinese zodiac, the rooster, this exquisite four-coin set from the Lunar Calendar Series showcases four different coloured rooster designs, in a setting that runs through all coins when placed together.

2017 Year of the Rooster Design
The reverse of each coin celebrates the 2017 Year of the Rooster with a design to showcase one of four different coloured roosters, which when placed together these coins form one panoramic scene. The Chinese character for ‘rooster’ and The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark are also included in the design.

Tuvalu Legal Tender
Each coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu and features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2017 year-date, and the monetary denomination on the obverse.

Limited Mintage
The Perth Mint will release no more than 3,000 of the Lunar Calendar Coin Series 2017 Year of the Rooster 1oz Silver Proof Four-Coin Set.
