A wonderful keepsake to mark the beginning of a new lunar cycle in 2020, this antiqued silver coin showcases a stunning innovative coin design and a golden mouse at it's centre.
A Charming Design
The coin's reverse portrays stylised mice and representations of wheat, grapes and corn, symbols of a bountiful harvest which is associated with happiness and abundance in Chinese culture. The centre of the coin features a rotating mouse-shaped bead insert. Made from sterling silver, it is plated in 18-carat gold. Also included in the design is the weight and fineness, and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
The coin has been individually ‘antiqued’ to give it a unique finish conveying the surface abrasions of an ancient artefact. As a result of this treatment the appearance of each coin may vary.
Presentation Packaging and Numbered Certificate
The coin is presented in a classic black display case with a clear lid. The case is packaged in a beautifully illustrated red and black shipper and accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
